Stan and Daniel were the fastest bike nilers in
the whole school. They decided to have a big race
on Saturday. Daniel put air in his tires. He oiled the
chain. He checked the frame of his bike to make
sure everything was just right. Stan did not do
anything to his bike. His bike had cost three imes as
much as Daniel's bike. Stan thought that nothing
could possibly go wrong. He laughed about the
work Daniel was doing while he watched a movie.
Stan and Daniel arrived at the race the ext day. Bob shouted, "Go!"
The boys began to pedal. Suddenly, Stan hellrd a noise. The chain had
fallen off of his bike. Daniel kept on peddling and won the race.

2. Yes ,Stan would have checked his bike before race. if he would have checked his bikes chain may not be fallen during his race.

3. He may have thought that his car is expensive so it may ride with good speed and need not to take care

4.I think Daniel had won the race. because he took proper precautions before his race.

5. Stan should take precaution before any competiton or racing . and even other than racing he should take of his bike and keep it in good condition and not to think that there will be no damage cause to his bike as it is expensive.
