One day, Ram and Rekha were strolling in a park. It was a sunny morning and there were many crows sitting around the fountain. While watching the crows, a question popped in Ram's head. He wondered how many crows there were in the city. He asked Rekha, "How many crows do you think there are in the city?" Rekha was quiet for some time and then replied, "There are thirty-five thousand eight hundred and seventy-nine crows in the town" Surprised by the exact number, Ram tried to test her, "What if there are more crows than you answered?" Rekha replied at once, "If the number of crows is higher, then some crows have come in from the neighbouring towns." Ram asked again, "But what if there are fewer crows than this?" Rekha replied calmly, "Then some crows must have gone on vacation."​
