My favourite character in my favourite book so far is Buck in the “call of the wild” by Jack London. Buck is the dog which shows courage. Although he had been kidnapped, beaten, and forced to learn to how to “be a sled dog” he tries more to do “what he needs to do” in the hopes which he will return to home soon.
His previous owner name was “The Judge”. Buck wasn’t a dog which liked to be pampered, but he was a “dog which liked to get the food outside and never to be slept inside. The day which Buck got kidnapped started off as a regular day. He went for a “stroll in the woods” when a rope got into put around ‘his neck’.
He accepted that the rope for a minute until he noticed “what was going on there”. That happened As soon as he began to fight back. The rope was twisted and he fell to the ground in pain. Buck tried to bite the kidnapper’s multiple times but each attempt ended with the twist of a rope and more pain. This is why Buck is my favourite character. He knew when to fight back and when to let whatever was going to happen, happen.
