As per the stories, " THE ADDRESS" and " THE DIARY OF A YOUNG GIRL " both are written by female authors who suffered from the grievances after the war.

In " THE ADDRESS ", the author experiences the LONELINESS and loss as her mother died after the war and she does not want to get back her mother's belongings as past things only brings sadness.

In THE DIARY OF A YOUNG GIRL ", Anne Frank, writer also narrated the sufferings she had during the war when she was at such a tender age of 14. She also had losses, she lose her mother and family in the war.

Overall, both stories are interrelated with the plot of war and its after effects on the poor people. The wartime brings losses and sadness and a harsh time of struggle of people.
