Renewable resources include hydro power, geothermal power, wind energy, biomass energy and solar energy.
Nonrenewable resources include oil, natural gas, coal, and nuclear energy.
Non renewable resources are limited in stock and they take millions of year to get replenished.But renewable resources are those which are abandon on earth and take short period of time to get replenished.
The resources are not evenly distributed.Some of the reasons are-
- Some may not get some resources because of their geographical location.
- Access, or the lack thereof, contributes to a place’s economic development, political relationships, and culture.
- Sometimes the population is also a reason for uneven distribution of resources.
