see bro as once you are clearly with your career that you have decided, then you need only to make your father understand ,about you and your career and make him believe, that whatever path you have chosen is right for you, as you are interested in that field. But make sure of one thing that whatever you chosen must be right and have belief in your self that you can definitely achieve it.

One more thing I wanna say that it doesn't matter you like or not but your parents will always right thing for you so whatever you parents say you must listen and think once about it and then finally decide about your career because it's your life.
