Subject: Problems faced by the teenagers.
sir
Through the esteemed corner of your newspaper I wish to draw your attention towards the problems faced by teenagers these days.
Now-a-days depression is very common problem among teenagers. They have no time for recreation and games. This makes their life mundane and pathetic. Pressure of parents to score good marks in every examination have made them book worms. Parents expect them to study whole day and night because they have to spend lakhs of money for school and coaching. They do not want their money to go in vain. Every child is expected to show extraordinary performance and skills. These things make a grooming teenager under- confident and he/she suffers from stress and anxiety.
The peer pressure of scoring good marks is the main cause of all the problems. This can be stopped if parents become more understanding and let their children to think beyond marks.
I hope you will publish regarding this problem in your newspaper. I shall remain obliged.
Yours truly
Neha
