Read this passage.
Francisco was leaving to play baseball at the park with his friends when Roman, his younger brother, came running up to him. "Let me come! I want to come!" Roman begged.
"You don’t want to come with us, Roman," Francisco replied. "You won’t have any fun with the older kids. Besides, Mom probably won’t let you come."
Roman went to ask his mom for permission to go with Francisco, but Francisco left for the park before Roman could return with an answer.
Based on the details in the passage, the reader can infer that
Francisco’s friends do not like his younger brother. Francisco does not really want Roman to come with him. Roman does not really want to go to the park with the older kids. Roman’s mom does not give him permission to go to the park.
