Let x represent the number of button pins.

1. Write an expression for the total amount paid for the button pins.

2. Write an expression for the income derived from selling the pains.

3. How many button pins should they sell to reach the break-even stage?

4. How many button pins should they sell to have a profit? Write an inequality for this.

5. If the organization has to earn a profit of that is exactly equal to ₱1800, how many pins should they
sell?

6. If the organization earn ₱1500 for 100 pins. Did it incur a loss, profit or break-even? Explain your
answer.
