A thief was caught stealing jewels in a house. The police took him to the police
station and took photographs of him from different angles—from the front,
from the left, etc. Suddenly the thief turned round, hit the policeman and escaped.
After a week, somebody telephoned the station to say that the thief was at Ranipur
town. The police sent to the Ranipur station four photographs of the thief, taken
from different angles, to help them catch the thief. That evening the Ranipur police
phoned and said very proudly: “We have caught three of the wanted thieves.
We hope to catch the fourth this evening.”
