Readings of to determine the internal resistance of a given primary cell using potentiometer

While using potentiometer for finding the value of unknown resistance, different readings are obtained by using the balance condition. The methods to obtain different readings are :-

1) Different resistance plug is taken

andd using the tap the balancing

point is found and simultaneously

the unknown resistance.

2)After taking one reading, the wire

has to be cleaned again and proper

connection is maintained has to be

checked.

3) All the components of

potentiometer are in proper

working condition also has to be

checked.
