The real wealth is the amount of love and care you get from people. After the death of people no body remember the fame and wealth one had in the world but is only remembered by the quality of his heart.

At a very early age, I had heard my father tell my older sibling one thing I did not understand then, but am able to do so now and the words ring in my ears every now and then. His words were to the effect that acquiring knowledge alone does not make one a completely educated person; with it must be added the right kind of values. A truly revered person is one who has the right mix of the two.

Today, we live in a world where a class of people flaunt their material wealth without realising they are hollow inside. Money and material possession are in plenty with them, yet they are poorer than an ordinary individual who does not so have much money or material possession. The well healed treat people less privileged as sub-humans.

If we acquire the right education and our value system is strong, we shall automatically transform into rich individuals. We will learn to respect others, do good deeds for the underprivileged and by our good traits will be able to influence the people around us.  A case in point would be our late president, Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam who had very few material possessions to show but left behind a rich legacy of his knowledge and humaneness.

If all of us are able to instill within ourselves the values of the dictum that, ‘Real wealth is never measured in money or possession’ we are sure to become much better human beings and transform our country into an even better and cherished place to live in.
