To find : Sum of the following

Step-by-step explanation:

a)  \frac{2}{3} + \frac{9}{2} + \frac{7}{4} + (-\frac{6}{3}) + (-\frac{3}{2})

  \frac{2}{3} + (-\frac{6}{3}) +\frac{9}{2} + (-\frac{3}{2}) + \frac{7}{4}

 -\frac{4}{3} + \frac{6}{2} + \frac{7}{4}

or, -\frac{4}{3} + 3 +\frac{7}{4}

By taking L.C.M of 3 and 4, we get 12

  = \frac{-16 + 36 + 21}{12}

  =  \frac{41}{12}

b) (-\frac{5}{7}) +\frac{5}{6} +\frac{1}{7} + 3 + (-\frac{13}{6})

  (-\frac{5}{7}) + \frac{1}{7} + \frac{5}{6} + (-\frac{13}{6} ) + 3

 (-\frac{4}{7}) + (-\frac{8}{6} ) + 3

or, (-\frac{4}{7}) + \frac{4}{3} + 3

By taking L.C.M of 7 and 3, we get 21

    = \frac{-12  +  28 + 63}{21}

    = \frac{79}{21}
