Why gold ornaments put on pink paper?

i think it has some meterial or a chemical which protects the gold and make it shining

Jwellers use paper sheets to protect the jwells against scratches .Instead of keeping it a dull white colour they use some more darker and attractive colour such that the gold jewellery looks more glittering from the background of the particular colour paper...

If we use white as we know white reflects all the colours the jewellery would not appear so glittering.so instead if we use a black colour it will not reflect all colour and also the jewellery would appears so glowing but as black is considered as the colour of negativity and sorrow the jwellers choosed some better colour that full fills all these conditions. The colour that was chosen was pink .

Pink does not reflect all the colours and the gold also appears so glittering from its background and pink is also considered as a colour of joy and happiness the buyers would more likely prefer to get the jwells wrapped in pink papers...
