Reason of placing earthworm in separate phyla

Earthworm is the common name for the larger members of the Oligochaeta; they belong to the phylum Annelida and are mostly terrestrial organisms found living in the soil. Some haveplaced them in to the class Clitellata making Oligochaeta the subclass.
