The satellite is made I a different manner and dimension which helps in reducing weight of satellite.

The most part of satellite is made up by silicon which for solar panels.
and weight of satellite is not very less.
But in comparing of space shuttle, it has less weight.
weight of sattelite only matters till in axis of earth.
