Answer:
Imagine starting playing a new game with others at age 6, being signed up for a team and practicing it three times a week, waiting for the next practice every day. Then that day happens. You play your first game. You have beginner’s luck and you score your first goal from halfway.
You turn 10, you now have 4 practices a week, after which you practice for another hour and a half after that practice and see rapid improvements, striving to becoming greater and greater.
But then a few months pass. You have growing pains for 2 years which cripple your development. But you push past that pain, hoping that it will pay off.
Then at Age 13 you are taken into one of the three best teams into your city, you are very excited, and luckily your injury goes away, you have preseason. And then- the coach hates you :( he does not give you a chance to play a game, he teases you by taking you to a tournament where you score your first goal for the team in your first game. He takes you to a league game- you do not go on. You think to yourself-Why ?
The end of the season comes, and he tells you to turn in your uniform. You cry, you wonder what you are missing. But a fire lights inside you. You want to prove this man wrong at all costs and you start practicing even more than you did before.
Suddenly you are in high school, you play for club for one more year, and you get a chance to play in a friendly game against peers from a different country- excitment hits as you will probably not get another chance to play a european team. Then something incredible happens. A classmate tells you about his group of friends that play daily. You go play with them. You are one of the best players and you impress him and his friends, and now you have others to play with as opposed to playing by yourself all the time. Now you are happy that you got kicked out of the team because you would not have met all these amazing people.
Year two of high school hits. You sign up for their team because you see that they have a lot of games. You make Junior Varsity as a sophomore, hey not bad considering you dont know anyone on day one. Then you see a former friend from an old club on day two. Great :) now you have someone else. Then you play your first high school game, you win 7–0 and the team is ecstatic about your performance. You love your coach as he plays you nonstop and somehow you are his favorite player. Two months, 5 goals, and about 15 assists later you are given a chance with Varsity. You are nervous but you give it your all. BEST GAME OF THE SEASON. you feel amazing and are taken for another game. You are suddenly a varsity starter and you play well again. The varsity coach pulls you aside and tells you that you should have been on his team from the start of the season, further motivating you.
Then, something new happens, while playing with your friends a beautiful girl comes and watches you play. You are nervous but you say hi. She says hi back and seems to be impressed with how you play. But you are shy. She keeps coming as you do. You play a friendly game with adults, your first senior game, which gives you a sniff of what is about to come
Year three of high school hits, and you are a varsity starter all season despite being plagued with another growing injury. The cute girl went to all of your home games and you are excited, but still shy. Winter starts, and you play your first game with adults during a five game tournament.
A new chapter starts- youth soccer is over, as you begin to play with adults you see that you gain a lot of experience. You score your first goal with adults, an absolute beauty too. You erupt with excitement, and you still believe that there is more to come.
