Quit India Movement due to failure
Any movement without leadership can fail. All Congress leaders were kept behind the bars for 2-3 years (even middle-level leaders). So a relatively unknown Congress leader Aruna Asif Ali had to hold a Congress flag in Mumbai. The slander was also cruel to British officials. Thousands of Indians were killed in the firing, millions were thrown in jail, the whole village was burnt .. It is very difficult to fight for ordinary Indians, but they did the best. The Muslim League and the Communists boycotted this moment.
Since the Quit India Movement was largely a Congress party campaign, it contributed to its decline and ultimately failure. ... Apart from this, the Congress had failed to gain broad support from other Indian political groups, each of which had its own reasons for opposing the Quit India Movement.
The leadership of any political movement is likely to fail, and the Quit India Movement was no exception. In an effort to break the backdrop of this latest challenge for imperial rule, the British moved quickly to capture the leaders of the Indian National Congress. Since the Quit India Movement was largely a Congress party campaign, it contributed to its decline and ultimately failure. Even some key members of the Congress opposed the policy, weakened the party's unity and resolved.
Apart from this, Congress had failed to get comprehensive support from other Indian political groups, each of which had its own reasons for opposing the Quit India Movement. Communists were against it, because of the Kremlin's faithful servants, they supported the Anglo-Soviet alliance during World War II. Nationalist Mahasab did not support the policy, because they wanted to use the war because the time was right when the Hindus had the opportunity to make them military for fighting the British. For their part, the Muslim League had already declared their support for the British war effort, hoping to remove political concessions after the war, and therefore did not sign the Quit India Movement.
During World War II, Mahatma Gandhi led an India movement to abandon an non-violent resistance against British rule in India. Gandhi hoped that due to his military involvement in the war, Britain would self-govern and give India.
Although, the Quit India Movement failed since its leaders did not present a clear plan of action and certain supporters started applying violence against the British government-owned buildings. In addition, Great Britain worked rapidly to suppress the rebellion, even for most of the remaining parts of World War II, most of India's National Congress is also going to imprison. Britain too imprisoned about 100,000 Indian nationals to support the movement.
Nevertheless, the Quit India Movement could have contributed to the final pull-out of the British government from the Indian government. They had fear of additional protests, which might be even more violent. Thus, weak Britain by World War II - decided that controlling India was more of a hassle.
