Reasons people say 'why?'
I want to know certain circumstances people say 'why?'...as in genuine curiosity, regret etc..
U won't be able to find this answer on Google, so plz use your own brain to answer.​

First of all, the question is great. As per the rules of grammar, this word is used to get reasons.. it depends on the situation as to when this word is used.

Coming to your question, when you want to know about some phenomena and ask why, you're curious. When something goes wrong and you're not going good, you say why out of despair.

You can know further by observing real life conversations.. be an active and a good listener, your surroundings have many things hidden which you can only understand by observing and listening.
