A frightening incident for me occurred at a Dubai beach. My family had stopped over to picnic and collect shells. Soon it was time to pack our stuff and leave. A blanket of darkness had settled over the beach. The place gave me the haunted feels. We had to change our muddy clothes before catching a cab. I changed into my fresh clothes when I realized something with a jolt. In a hurry, my mother had forgot to tell me where I would meet her. I looked around. She and my sister were nowhere to be seen. There were people, cracking jokes and hooting with laughter. There were STANGERS. STANGERS EVERYWHERE. A knot tied in my stomach. How did I behave? Like a three year old. I turned on my eye faucet and started crying. I began looking for places where I could spend the night. That staircase near the cabin? What about food? I imagined myself slowly starving to death and cried even louder. A woman noticed me and came forward to console me. I sniveled out, barely audible, that my parents had gone missing. She was ready to let me use her phone to call dad when someone pulled my pigtail. "AAAAAHHH!" I turned around and found my sister scowling at me. We both thanked the kind woman. My sister commented that it would have been better if she had left me alone on the beach. I wanted to pull her ear but alas, I had been found. :D
