Remember it this way, Discount Allowed is always to be Debited. Discount Received is always to be Credited. Discount Allowed refers to discount on SALES, Discount Recd. refers to discount on purchases. Discount on Sales is an expense, whereas Discount on Purchases is an Inco,e.
so then answee is ryt or wrong
