NOTE - As cash 18,800 is recieved in full settlement of his account which was worth rupees 19,000 so the balance is given as discount .
As cash is an asset and it is increasing as we are recieving payment so it will be debited and we are giving discount so it is an expense so it will also be debited and debtors are asset and it is decreasing so it will be credited.
