The Directive Principles are embodied in Part IV of the Constitution from Articles 36 to 51. The features are borrowed from the Irish Constitution and adopted from USA.
Implementations are : -
1- The State should secure the ownership and control of the material resources of the community.
2- Laws are made to organise village panchayats.
3- Compulsory primary education has been enacted.
4- Promotion of cottage industries.
5- To see to the the matter of finance and marketing.
6- Raise the standard of living of rural population.
7- Prohibition of intoxicating drinks and drugs.
8- Separation of the executive from the judiciary.

There are a total of 21 DPSPs in the Indian Constitution. Articles 36 & 37 doesn't contain any directive but deal with the definition of State and significance of directive principles respectively. Articles 38 to 51 actually contains the DPSPs
