Last month an American named Luis Stenmeln, who used to live in California, studies in class 10th of our school for a whole month to learn about our country.
Luis learned a lot about our country and he also took parts in activities in and out of the school. As we all know last month was Diwali month so he took part in the Diwali festival in school. He learned about the history of Diwali also he used to live near me so we’d go out together, he took part in Diwali outside the school as well.
He also went to different bazaar and societies to learn about our culture. He used to roam around to observe us and I’m glad that he discovered us as good citizens. Once I was talking to him how he feels to be here and he explained how excited he was and it all was worth it cuz he loved coming here.
He promised that he will visit our country again and he’ll also write in his school about our country since he was the president of his school magazine. It’ll benefit our country as foreigners will get to know good things about our country and they can also visit it which will promote our culture and tourism.
