This is Shashi presenting, one of the NCC cadets who participated in the adventure trip to Leh and Ladakh. Recently, a battalion of NCC cadets have visited Leh and Ladakh for an adventure trip. Here, I share the wonderful experience of the trip.
As invited by the Indian BSF, we have visited Ladakh and Leh and returned back just couple of days ago. We have been in the adventure with the BSF for 15 days.
Some of the memorable moments are Spituk Gompa Trek, Zanskar Valley Tour, and a hang out with the local monks. We had some training in mountain passes like Lo thang Pass together with BSF.

Tour to Leh and ladakh by NCC students
Report prepared by XYX – NCC cadet students, who was a part of the NCC tour to Ladakh and Leh region. The tour was accompanied by senior school teaching staff and head NCC cadets. Many new NCC cadets were also a part of the tour.
At the tour, cadets got to enjoy the snow capped mountain ranges at Leh and ladakh region. Students got indulged in outdoor events and camping. They enjoy organizing bonfire events during the night time in open grounds under the mountain cliff.
Cadets also got indulged in socializing activities including cooking and sporting events, which was organized by our senior cadets, strictly under supervision. During the entire event and tour, no cadet was left out of any activity or injured.
Cadets also report that such events should be organized in groups every year for new and old cadets. It is great fun for everyone at NCC.
