The Everest Higher Secondary School has adopted the Mayur Vihar locality under New Delhi with the purpose to keep the area clean and healthy. The first cleanliness drive was carried out by the students and teachers of the school.
The Principal, Mr. S. Mehra thanks the students and the teachers for coming up with this noble idea. He further added that the project will instill the dignity of labour among the students.
During the cleanliness drive, the students and the teachers were pleasantly surprised when many people in the locality came out to work and to support the them.
Many of the residents gave the assurance that they will join and be a part of this school project of cleanliness. The assured the school team that they will take great care in disposal of waste and properly use the garbage disposal bins provided by the Municipal Corporation.
