Recently you happened to attend a seminar on the catastrophic environment degradation due to the so called misconception, ‘Development.’ You believe that tall buildings and superhighways do not mean development as long as they do not leave room for more green spaces and fresh air for the generations to come. Write a letter to the editor of the Environment Daily, Florida. You are Smith/Smitha,

Dear sir,
I have noted with deep concern --from a recent seminar on the catastrophic environment degradation-- the term "development" has been coined to refer to establishment of tall buildings and super highways.I am sorry to say this is thoughtless of us.
We all love to see economic growth in terms infrastructure and expansion of towns but this should not occur at the expense of our beautiful environment. We are shamelessly reducing the land under vegetation cover ,not preserving our green parks instead we have turned them into parking areas for motor vehicles.
We therefore one day will wake up and will have to walk with potted plants in our back to supply us with fresh air.Urgent measures need to be taken and efforts combined to combat this before we lose it all.
Remember nature can be unforgiving ,it will punish us and the generations to come.Thank you I look foward to your response on the same.
Yours sincerely,
Smith.

Subject: Making true development, not just a poison emitting concrete jungles
Dear Sir:
I am writing this letter to express my deep anguish over the catastrophic environment degradation being done in the name of development. Everywhere I see just incessant concrete jungles being erected unwisely, with no provision for green spaces in them. This is not development; this is death trap for the present and coming generations.
Green spaces among the buildings are indispensable. These green spaces are the unique purifiers of air and detoxify the environment. So they must be maintained and preserved at any cost. If we fail to create green spaces, we are literally handing over coffins to our future generation.
Through the medium of your esteemed newspaper I appeal to the Environment Ministries at the state and central levels to look into the matter and implement stricter laws to preserve greenery in the cities. Thanking you.
Yours truly,
Shourya
