Recently you happened to visit an old age home where you saw the old people staying away from their family in a miserable condition due to the uncaring attitude of their own children. You were moved by this and decided to write a letter to The Editor of The Hindustan Times newspaper expressing your feelings regarding the need to take Care of the Elderly people . You are Rohit Kapadia staying at house number 767, Defence Colony, Dehradun.

1.Diary entry for seeing the old people.

Dear diary,

Today I am sharing a very heart touching experience. My parents took me to an old-age home. As we entered the old-age home a lady named Isabella greeted us. She is a very adorable lady. She guided us to the old-age home. She is the care-taker of the old-age home. We went into the room where elderly people were sitting. There face lit up when they saw us. We greeted them and gave them warm hug. We gave them clothes and gifts. They were very happy. We gave them laddoos which was made by my mother.

They shared their stories with us. I felt very emotional interacting with them. Some of them were abandoned by their own children. They chose to live in old-age home because it is more safe and secure. It is providing facilities of lodging and fooding. They are getting company in old-age home.

I felt depressed to see them. They need company of their children. As people

grow old they need more attention, love and care.

I will visit them regularly to give company to them.

2.Diary entry for visiting an orphanage.

Dear diary,

Today my parents took me to an orphanage. It was very emotional experience. I shared my toys and chocolates with them. There were very happy. I gave them my old clothes and books. We played together. I made new friends there. There was an uncle named Rahim Chacha who teaches those children. He is a very gentle person.

I was so touched seeing those children who lost their parents. I am grateful to have parents who teaches me what is wrong and right and who supports me in every situation.

I will visit my new friends in orphanage every weekend and will share my toys, books and chocolates with them.
