Dear Mallika,
Hey how are you Malli? It's been so long since we met. Hope your exams are over and you are getting a little breather.
You always ask about activities we have in our school. Last week the Environment club of our school has organised a Social Service Camp for only Secondary School students. The teachers have taken us to a school in a remote village in Ponda. The school has very poor infrastructure and the government is building a toilet for the children. We were asked to clear away some bushes to make way for the building. Later we met the children from the primary section and taught them subjects like Art and Drama. We had a very good time with them. They are children from economically poor background and don't get opportunity to meet any body outside their village.
The teachers of the village school appreciated us for our enthusiasm and friendliness. The expereince taught us the importance of selflessness and how we can contribute our time to make others happy.
This time when you are here in Goa, let us go again to meet the children. You will really love them. Write to me again when you recieve this letter. See you soon.
