The Indian Brain Drain
As years have passed by million of Indians have left our country for jobs abroad. With increase in the number of Indians working abroad, there is a decrease in the money that is reaching back India. The scenario is simple. Indian youth who have used our resources to become employable leave the country once they receive bigger and better opportunities. Honestly, this is not surprising.
India does not value its talent. With corruption and prejudices working at every level, it is really difficult for a person - no matter how worthy of qualification they are - to reach heights. In such a case, international companies utilize this intellectual workforce to improve their resources and systems.
Looking at people within the country as well, people want to work for MNCs rather than local markets. There are more people employed in Foreign companies than Indian and this is because of the better response and income they receive. To deal with this, India has to start realizing its potential and do the needful to tap this.
