.During my vacations, I went to New Delhi with my family. On a sunny afternoon, we planned to go to Rajouri Garden. I asked my father how we were going to get there. He replied calmly that we were taking the metro. “Metro?” I wondered out loud, “What’s that?” My dad simply smiled and said that I’ll come to know soon.

We took a rickshaw to the metro station. My dad got the tickets and the train arrived just as we reached the platform. It was huge!

We got into a spacious compartment and stood enjoying the view from the window. It was stunning. In the evening, the city was illuminated with lights from houses, cars, traffic and streets. It was a marvellous visual treat.

My first metro ride was fabulous and fascinating.

today after 15 yrs I am remembering my first journey by metro train. it was my first time. and I enjoyed a lot that time. that time I am in 9 th class. I went to Delhi for picnic with some of my cousins and nephews. as it was my first time I am very excited. when we entered we saw it was vacant. after 4-5 minutes a huge crowd got inside the train and it became so much crowded. we didn't suffer much because we already got seat to sit. the metro train was so much clean that I don't think that we are keeping this much cleanliness in our home also. when the train started I became more and more excited. as I remember it was running at a speed of 200-250 km/h. when the train stopped in another station that time an old lady got inside the train and she don't find any seat to sit, so I gave her my seat to sit
really I enjoyed a lot in my first metro train journey.and it was the unforgettable moment of my life.
