Van Mahotsav is type of festival which is celebrated for tree plantation is organized every year in the first week of July across India when millions of trees are planted.
Van Mahotsav week was celebrated in our school from 3rd July to 7th July 2018 in the school campus.
The celebration was an ideal opportunity to instil the value of social responsibility in the students towards safeguarding trees and forests and various activities.
Many students of different claees participated in plantation programme where in different types of medicinal plants like Neem, Aloe Vera, Basil etc were planted by the school Principal and other dignitaries.
Some students participated in poster making competition to promote environmental awareness.
Every student made a poster on the topic ‘GREEN EARTH, CLEAN EARTH’.
Through this article I would like to draw the attention of the attention of the people towards the importance of the Van Mahotsav for the better future the world.
