Last month, our school ABC Public School, New Delhi hosted an inter-school competition wherein a number of schools all over the state participated. The event was organized for two days, during which there were different competitions held and even some talent shows.
The competitions such as volleyball, football, tennis and many games were held on the first day. Our school managed to get a number of prizes though most of the prizes were taken by the other schools. the second day was mostly about the academic competitions- debates, elocution, essay writings, painting, speeches etc. In this, most of the higher prizes are taken by our school, except the debate and quiz.
To close the event, there was a music festival, a talent show and other forms of free entertainment from both the teachers and students, whoever wants to perform. We all had a great time and the other school representatives also told us that they enjoyed a lot. Some of us even managed to make new and good friends during the two days. It was an event that we hoped will be continued again the next year.
