The relationship with my grandad has been special since the day I was born. I was born on Dhanteras. It is a festive occasion that is celebrated two days before Diwali. It was an auspicious day in itself and the family was very happy. But no one could match my grandad’s happiness. He was fighting a case in court over some financial issues. From what I know, he was losing it. But the day I was born, the verdict came out and he had actually won the case. His happiness knew no bounds. For him, I brought him good luck. I think he must have a made a pretty good case for himself and he won because of that but hey, Indian grandparents are known to be superstitious.
