Solution:−

Base of triangle = 17cm

Area of triangle = 85cm²

Also, area of triangle = 1/2xbxh

So,

area = {85cm}^{2}area=85cm

2

\frac{1}{2} \times b \times h = {85cm}^{2}

2

1

×b×h=85cm

2

\frac{1}{2} \times 17 \times h = {85cm}^{2}

2

1

×17×h=85cm

2

\frac{17}{2} \times h = {85cm}^{2}

2

17

×h=85cm

2

8.5 \times h = {85cm}^{2}8.5×h=85cm

2

h = \frac{ {85cm}^{2} }{8.5}h=

8.5

85cm

2

h = 10cmh=10cm

Hope it helps............
