When I was teaching, I lost my position. I found out from my principal and she had my friend come with her. I'm really sensitive so I bawled my eyes out. I accepted a kindergarten position, walked in the classroom, it was totally bare. I had a couple of weeks to set it up. I didn't have the money to set it up. I needed things the school didn't provide. I didn't know what I was doing. I turned around and left and didn't come back. I was sent to psychiatrist and couldn't stop my knee from bouncing up and down. I was put on a year's leave of absence.
I am learning the consequences of my decision. I went on long term disability and I can't afford my apartment now. There are only two I can afford and they have no availability.
Oh how I wish I was teaching. No worries about money that I know. With my inheritance I could've bought something inexpensive and had money to pay for the needs for the place.
I screwed up. Big time. Don't do what I did. And also, they opened my classroom a month after school started. The position was available the next school year and I could've taken it and I had building seniority so could bump that teacher out.

Everyone has faced challenges of some type, whether it was a health issue, a failed personal initiative, or financial difficulties. The way I realized the meaning of failure is something I'll never forget about 2020.
Covid was at its pinnacle in the year 2020. I was a completely online student, and I thought this year would be a breeze. I knew I was a visual learner, but I figured I could just do what I always did and pass without studying.
I was quite disappointed with the results of the first semester exams because I failed one of the subjects. This became one of my life's challenges, and I worked really hard in my studies. I attended in-person lessons and was assigned a tutor. I also asked the teacher for extra credit and the students for assistance via email.
I received an A in all of my subjects in the second semester exams. My parents were likewise relieved to find that I had learnt a valuable lesson from my ordeal. Study diligently, and if at all possible, take all in-person classes.
