Answer:

15 centimetres and 10 centimetres

Step-by-step explanation:

let length and width of rectangle A be L and B.

let length and width of rectangle B be l and b.

now L = 3l and B = 2b (given)

2(L+B) = 50 or L + B = 25 .

2(l + b) = 20 or l + b = 10

3l + 2b = 25 and l + b = 10 (substitution)

on solving l = 5 and b = 5

so L = 3(5) = 15 and B = 2(5) = 10
