rectangle is 25 m by 9 metre in dimensions find the side of the square whose area is equal to the area of the rectangle by how much does the perimeter of the rectangle exceeds the perimeter of the square

area of rectangle is 225m*m
as area of square = area of rectangle
side of square is 15m

perimeter of square is 4*15=60m
perimeter of rectangle is 2(25+9)=68m
so perimeter of rectangle exceeds perimeter of square by 8m
