let the length and breadth be x , so that

perimeter of a rectangle = 2(l+b)

perimeter of the rectangle = 2 ( 16x + 9x )

750 cm = 2(25x )

750 cm = 50x

x= 750/50

x= 15

to check :-

16x = 16*15 = 240cm

9x = 9*15 = 135 cm

                SO LU TI ON

Given :

  • Length and breadth of rectangular

       feild are in raion 16 : 9

  • And its perimeter is = 750 cm

===========================

To find :

  • Area of rectangular field

===========================

Let's solve,

Let the length of rectangular

field is = 16x and

its breadth = 9x

===========================

We know that perimeter of

rectangle = 2×(length + breadth)

So,

Perimeter = 2(l + b)

750 = 2 (16x + 9x)

750 = 2 × 25x

750 = 50x

x = 750/50

x = 15 cm

===========================

∴ Length = 16 × 15 = 240 cm

and Breadth = 9 × 15 = 135 cm

===========================

We know that area of rectangle

= Length × Breadth

= 240 × 135

= 32400 cm²
