• Where " l " is length and " b " is breadth of rectangle.

According to the given condition:-

→ Perimeter of rectangular garden

• → 2(l + b)

• → 2(175 + 96)

• → 2 × 271

• → 542 m

Now,

Cost of fencing it at Rs.1.50 per metre

• → Total cost of fencing

• → 1.50 × 542

• → Rs.813

Hence,

• Total cost of fencing is Rs.813
