let the length be x
breadth=x-7
perimeter=138m
2(l+b)=138m
2(x-7+x)=138
4x-14=138
4x=138-14
4x=124
x=124/4
x=31m
x-7=24m
area=l*b
=31*24
=744m

srinivas32: but u did wrong that is when it is -14 here when we shift to another side it should be +14

let the length be=x
so breadth =x-7
x+(x-7)=138
perimeter formula=2×(l+b)
2×x+(x-7) =138
2x+(2x-14) =138
4x=138+14
152÷4= 38
therefore, x = 38

srinivas32: mark as brainlist
srinivas32: area =1178
