Red blood cells do not have nucleus bcoz to provide large surface area so that it can carry oxygen to all part of our body. For saying something a cell does not mean that it should contain nucleus. If nucleus might be present in RBC then it would be not so supportive in carrying oxygen as it does, haemoglobin present in it carries oxygen so as more haemoglobin will be there more it will effective in transporting oxygen.
HOPE IT HELPS U IF IT DOES MARK IT BST PLZZ.
