Answer:

Total number of possible outcomes = 52-4 = 48

(i) number of King cards now = 4

P( a king) = 4/48 = 1/12

(ii) number of possible outcomes = 26-2 = 24

P( card is of red colour) = 24/48 = 1/2

(iii) number of possible outcomes = 12-4 = 8

P( a face card) = 8/48 = 1/6

(iv) number of possible outcomes = 2

P( a queen) = 2/48 = 1/24
