MnO4- (aq) + C2H2O4 (aq) --> Mn+2 (aq) + CO2 (g) + H2O (l)​

here, MnO4- is reduced and so it is the oxidising agent.

C2H2O4 is oxidised and so it is the reducing agent.

( ox. state = 2(no.of O)- no.of H/ no.of C)
