Reduce the following trigonometric expression.

 \cos(x -  \frac{\pi}{2} )

\therefore cos\big(x-\frac{\pi}{2}\big)

=cos\big[-\big(\frac{\pi}{2}-x\big)\big]

=cos\big(\frac{\pi}{2}-x\big),\quad since\:cos(-\theta)=cos\theta

=sinx
