I agree with the statement, as we already know that friction wastes a lot of energy in machines. and when this happens we require more energy to overcome friction. When more energy is used, we need to burn more fuels like coal and petroleum that further pollutes the environment.
So, what if we reduce friction? we won't waste extra-energy which hence will save our energy and environment.

So, we conclude that reducing friction to the lowest possible level in machine tools solves the problem of energy crisis and conserves biodiversity..
