Answer:

Reduction in noise pollution during lock down

Noise pollution had been a major factor which led to loss of hearing. This was the case before the virus. When the virus caused the deaths of many, the country was put in lock down.  During this lock down period, many people excluding the doctors and the hospital staff were at home. As a result, our environment began to change. The pollution levels especially Noise pollution and air pollution in our environment had reduced in particular. Just like pollution levels have dropped on land owing to corona virus lock down and subsequent lack of industrial activities, level of underwater noise pollution has reduced too.  Less number of ships and boats in seas and oceans has reportedly offered a respite to whales and other marine life. One (tiny) benefit of social distancing in cities is the newfound quiet that has urbanites reporting that birdsong, for instance, seems louder than ever before. This change has also miraculously healed the ozone layer of the earth.

Hope it helps.
