let's say the price of 1kg of sugar be x so number of kgs of sugar bought are 120/x. When reduction happens, price falls to 0.75 per kg. sugar bought in kgs is 160/x. difference in sugars bought in both cases specified is 160/x-120/x=40/x which is equal to 5. x=8 hence original price of 1 kg of sugar is ₹8. reduced price of 1 kg of sugar is ₹6.

Answer:

8,6

Step-by-step explanation:

Decreasing by 25% means 100 to 75

100 75

4 3

The gap is 1 = 5kg =120

1kg =120/5= 24

Original price = 24/3 =8

Changed price=24/4=6
