We all are living in this atmosphere , so it is also our responsibility to make our atmosphere pure. All humans are responsible for this day by day increasing air pollution.
Reduction of Air Pollution is the responsibility of every citizen. The responsibility can not be deemed only to the elected representatives.
Let us consider a situation in which government banning the use of plastics: If the government bans the plastic, the public should avoid using it for any purpose.
There will not arise any change, if the public refuses to avoid plastic usage and continue to use it. In this situation, the citizen has no rights to blame the government for the usage of plastics and the environmental issues arising around it.
The same example can be applied to the reduction of air pollution. If the government bans burning tires, citizens should not burn tires. If the government requests you to use public transport as it'll save fuel and reduce CO2 emission, citizens should use the common vehicles.
In a larger sense, a pollution free environment can only be achieved through the contribution of everyone living in the environment
