I am just telling you what i heard & understand...
1.She doesn’t need to stop eating any sweet or sugary food but she needs to pull her quantity down ( it means eat everything but in lower amount)
2. If she wants to loose weight then she needs to continue reading about diet, follw the Fittest youtubers, She needs to understand the advantage of being fit... this will make her positive and will help her to say NO to over eating
3. Drink a lot of water can burn fat
4. Do intermittent fasting .. eat only on restricted hours of day... like 10am to 5pm... & rest of the day she can drink only water
